ICM 2011

ICM was founded in 1986 by Prof. Dr. Mohamed I. Elmasry, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

The mission of the ICM series is to bridge the technological, educational and cultural gaps between developing and developed nations.

The first conference in the series was held in Algeria in 1988. The 23rd edition of ICM will be held in Tunisia on December 2011.

In 1995, the Electron Devices Society of the IEEE cosponsored the conference.

In 2004, ICM and Handasa Arabia sponsored the 1st International Electronics Design Contest for Students (IEDCS).
